I was having an issue with my Alta not working and just blank screen, when I plugged it into the charger, it showed battery is full, and I could tap through the screens. As soon as I took it off the charger, it stopped working again. Teied resetting by pressing the button on the charger 3 times,but that didnt work either. Logged into fitbit to try to find info and saw there was an update option. I selected this and had to keep my phone by the fitbit to complete the update. It didnt take very long, and now it works fine!!!! I think its kind of like cell phones, they're constantly being updated. However, since I hadnt used mine in so long, I likely missed some updates.
