The friends leaderboard is totally wrong

For the friends leaderboard, it never ever updates or says the right amount of steps on the leaderboard. It never resets to 0 steps each week or tells the correct steps of mine or any of my friends. Have tried deleting the app and redownloading and also turning my phone on and off multiple times. Please can this be sorted, it’s so frustrating. Thanks!

It's not supposed to reset to zero.  It is a rolling total of the previous 6 days, plus so far today.  At midnight, it drops the oldest day and start adding in steps from next day.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
