My HR is showing tomorrow today if that makes any sense. It show exactly the same amount of steps but the day is greyed out

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using to sync your Alta HR? When was the first time you experienced this inconvenience and how many times since then? Is this affecting all your stats or just heart rate and steps? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:
Force quit the Fitbit app.
Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
Reboot your mobile device.
Reinstall the Fitbit app.
Login using your account credentials.
Keep me posted.
