Tracking Active minutes but not exercise

Hi there,

I was hoping someone could give me a hand with a problem I had with my Alta.

This morning I was on the treadmill for 35minutes doing HITT.

My Alta recognized I was actively working out since it did record my 35 active minutes.

The problem is that although it did record active minutes it didn’t track mi exercise.

I have no exercises recorded for today!

* Why did this happen?

*How do I fix it now so it shows my active minutes + the exercise I did today

* How can I know how many calories I burnt during these 35 active minutes or during this workout that wasn’t recorded?

Hope someone can give me some insight since I´m a bit confused!

Update: My Alta is set to auto recognize exercise after 10min..

Fitbit versa is tracking steps, active minute but not my exercise/calories burned during. I’ve tried everything, logging out, restarting, syncing over and over and nothing. Very frustrated.

I had the same thing happen.  I did 2 separate walks today that were recognized with both minutes and auto recognized as walks.  Tonight I did a 1 hour Zumba class that was not recognized for the minutes nor the exercise type. I did get the number of steps counted though.  Getting frustrated with my Fitbit watch. It’s not being consistent when exercising.

Thanks for trying to help but It's a new problem. It recognised a 10 minute walk as exercise last week and today it does NOT recognise a 30 minute walk. I suspect a programming change  has accidentally broken something; it will probably "magically fix itself" when the developer finds the bug they introduced.

@Njpjean Zumba is not an auto recognized exercise.

You may want to record as a workout, then rename after a sync.
