Unable to turn off HR sensor green light on Alta HR

My Alta HR turned radioactive a couple of days ago and glows bright green - I’m unable to turn off the HR sensor, even though it’s set to “Off” in the settings. I hard-reset it multiple times, let the batter run out through and through …. Nothing seems to work. 

what else can I do? I can’t sleep with this thing on my wrist, and it runs out of battery in half a day.

Hi @Myfp24 As the restarts didn't help then I'm afraid your Alta HR has died. I think you need a new tracker. Maybe the new Luxe? It looks lovely!

This has also happened just recently with my Alta HR. Was working just fine, and without any damage, the green light just stayed on for days now. Several attempts to reboot/reset without success. Since the green light is still on, “it has died” doesn’t align with the fact that it still charges, so it’s not dead. There must be a more accurate diagnosis and solution.
