I am trying to sync my Alta HR with my existing Fitbit app. I get to a certain point and I get a message stating an account exists with my email and it won’t allow me to go any further. Suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Are you trying to sync a NEW Alta HR to an existing Fitbit Account? Which Fitbit Tracker did you originally have paired to this Fitbit Account? The more details you provide the better I can assist you.

It sounds like you have chosen to try and create a new account, rather then choosing the Log into your existing account.

How do you set up a new fitbit on an existing account? My old account is still on my Mac. "Help" told me that they could not help after almost 2 hours. Perhaps you can.

Hi @gerigeni you want to continue to use your Fitbit account which is on the Fitbit server. Your account was never on your Mac.
Do you have a smart phone, or will continue to use the mac?

I access my Fitbit account on my MAC and that is all that I have.
