What is the silver part of the Alta made from? Metal? plastic?

Had quite a few Fitbits and the Alta feels really high quality and weighty. Is the body made from stainless steel or resin/plastic and sprayed silver?

Thanks in advance

Nice to see you here @honglong1976The clasp and housing on Alta contain surgical-grade stainless steel. The wristband that comes with Alta is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material similar to that used in many sports watches.

I hope this helps! 😉

Is the slider on the band made of something different from the rest of the band? I think the slider is irritating my skin. It’s the black elastomer type.
