Just last month, the band on my Fitbit Alta HR fell off. After talking to customer service, I discovered that there is nothing they will do to help me with my Alta HR band issue since my warranty ended in January (even though this seems to be an ongoing issue with many Alta HR owners and is clearly a manufacturing defect...). The customer service rep linked me to their products page and told me to buy a new one there. Guess what? not a single Alta HR band for sale. wtf. I told him this and he then linked me to their authorized retailers page. Target, Walmart, Amazon... none of them sell Alta HR bands. I'm honestly so frustrated that I'm considering getting an apple watch instead, but I don't want to lose my data from the past year. Where am I supposed to buy an Alta HR band? I'm skeptical of 3rd party retailers but if anyone has any good experiences please let me know!

I see 7 pages of Fitbit Alta HR bands with about 50 choices per page on Amazon.

I have bought several third-party bands from Amazon for different models with no problems. You get a wider choice of colors, styles, materials. And at their prices, you can often buy a set of different colors to match your mood at a lower price than for one official Fitbit band.

Yes, I am aware of the off-brand options. Good to hear 3rd party options are working! I've just had bad experiences where 3rd party products ended up being very low quality. It's a shame that Fitbit doesn't sell their own bands, though. I'll definitely check out the options on Amazon.
