I have done everything to keep my husband fitbit Alta HR charged. It will not charge and when it does it dies in less than one day. So upset about this. Very frustrating.
I am one of the people that Me too on this. Yesterday I found something that I tried and so far it seems to be working. With your Alta HR plugged into the charger and the charger plugged into a power source, find the button on the charger cord, it's on the plastic section with the USB charger. Hold the button down three times. After you press it each time it will make your Alta HR buzz. If done correctly the Fitbit logo will show in the display window. This resets it. I will say it took a very long time to charge after this but today it is holding the charge which for the last three days it wouldn't even last an hour.
This doesn't work. I'm so very upset about this. I gave it to my husband for a birthday gift and now it's crap!!!! The charge is gone and it stopped at 3/4 full!!!!!
I have the exact same one, it works fine. I'm at a stand still.
