I have tried all the steps, but the watch will not show up as a device my phone can pair to. When I go through the "setup a device" process, my phone cannot find it either. It won't charge either when plugged. I got this two days ago.

Hi @hijklmno The Alta has been discontinued for quite a few years now. Is this a second hand device?

I did not know that! I just bought it from Walmart. I'm thinking about returning it and getting a different model then.

I have the same issue. It reads ok on my wrist but does not transfer the info to my app.
