alta doesn't sync on its own anymore

I have a Samsung s9 and at least for the last month my alta doesn't do the automatic all day sync.  If i don't go into the app and ask it to sync, it won't update.  Any suggestions?

See the other threads for Pixel phones. Lots of people are having this problem.

 

I have a Pixel 3, Alta HR, and it's worked fine for many years. After recently Android 11 update, it keeps losing sync. Have tried everything (see the other threads), but the phone keeps losing sync, and notifications aren't going through.

 

A brand new Inspire 2 works fine.

A brand new Altra HR does now, and has the same problem as my old Alta HR.

 

It'll sync at times, then lose sync.

 

Might wanna look at the other sync-related threads to see what people have tried.
