My Alta HR went on the fritz this afternoon. It wouldn't go on so I thought the battery was dead so I plugged it in. When I went and checked it the battery was showing a full charge so I disconnected it and then the screen started going crazy running through my screen options all on its own. Any ideas????
Mine started doing the same thing yesterday.i tried the charge and restart options and it still did the same thing. Constant recycling through the readings. Also interested in any fixes offered here.
Well, I talked with FitBit and my Alta is fried. Not sure what happened. I had synced it early in the day, so they were not sure why it happened, but not fixable.
That sounds like the response that the majority have received who had the same problem. There were numerous ones from March and again in late May and early June. Guess with next purchase Zi will get the cheap 3-year protection plan that’s offered with an Amazon purchase.
Great. So basically they continue to make inferior products. This will be the third Alta I've owned. I'm done with Fitbit. I'll have to save and move on to an Apple Watch.
