2.19 (2/23) Android release broke sync

So starting on 2/29, my Nexus 6P running latest Android with latest Marshmallow (not updated) stopped syncing with my Charge HR. I tried rebooting the phone, turning on and off airplane mode, turning on and off bluetooth. Occasionally it would work and briefly sync once or twice. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the fitbit app. I checked "Location Services" to make sure it was enabled.

Thinking it was the tracker, I opened a BRAND-NEW tracker, and replaced it on the account. Same issue. I can get it to sync ONCE sometimes by rebooting the phone, sometimes by turning on airplane mode.

This release of the the fitbit app is the only thing that has changed on my phone (no system updates!). I even had the luxury of a second tracker, to prove it was the fitbit app.

I get "Tracker not found" (most often), Sync error, occasional Bluetooth error (requiring the fitbit app to restart bluetooth).

Fitbit, the android app has turned my tracker into a piece of junk. This is frustrating, and very demotivating for my workouts which have relied heavily on the challenges up to now. You need to fix this. I have encouraged many of my friends to buy fitbit, and am currently regretting this, as I can't even use my own.

Fitbit android broke the sync. Please fix this app right away.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @kabal ! I'm very sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've been having with your Fitbit and the Fitbit app. 

I'd recommend trying all the suggestions listed here one by one so you can cover all of them. It would be great if you also check the Which Android devices have known issues with the Fitbit app? article. 

If the issue persists after following all the suggestions, my recommendation would be to get in touch with Customer Support directly. They'll be more than glad to give you a hand on this!
