2 sets of heart rate zones used in different places in the app

If I go to heart rate > settings > heart rate zones I get the following thresholds:

fat burn: 106

cardio: 126

peak: 151

great! looks perfect for my age and fitness. however when I go into active minutes I see completely different thresholds:

moderate: 78

vigorous: 84

peak: 92

these are obviously wrong and set far too low. however, annoyingly they are also the thresholds the app uses for all its graphs and calculations. if I go for a light run where I keep my heart rate below 130 Fitbit thinks I have been working at peak intensity.

I can't ever modify these thresholds. If I add a custom max heart rate or zone in heart rate > settings > heart rate zones these update the thresholds on this settings page only. the app continues to use the extremely low thresholds in the active minutes page everywhere.

it is extremely annoying that this basic functionality is so broken. I would appreciate any advice on how I can resolve this.

Hello @decliner and welcome to the Community.  What model Fitbit do you use?  Your first list looks like active zone minutes, but the second looks like active minutes.  They are different.  Help article  We need to know what model you use to help sort this out.  Older models give active minutes and newer models give active zone minutes.  If your Fitbit is a Charge 4 or newer, then you should get active zone minutes.

There might be a bug in the app.  If your Fitbit gives active zone minutes, I don't know why it is using active minute ranges on your exercise details.
