About to give up on Fitbit for good, deeply frustrated

For the last several weeks my app will not sync correctly with my tracker.

I can only successfully sync if I do some combination of killing and restarting the app, restarting the phone, turning bluetooth off and back on, restarting the tracker; I have even had to uninstall the app and/or unpair the tracker from the account at times.

This is now happening EVERY time I try to sync - the app will just not sync properly.

I can't keep using the Fitbit if I have to jump through these hoops every time I try to sync. I don't know if it's the tracker, my phone, the app, or what; I've verified that I am using the latest version of the app and have updated the firmware on the tracker.

If I can't come up with a solution soon I'll have to say farewell to Fitbit as a product. I'm really frustrated.

I'm using fitbit blaze and is facing the same problem. It's really a lousy product. If they don't improve soon I'm going to abandon it for good. I bought a Huawei Honor Band 3 beginning January. Whenever I turned on the Bluetooth, it's always there. The battery can last for weeks .

Have you tried standing on one leg while restarting Bluetooth?

Same here. I've started writing my break up letter.

1. Can't sync or stay signed in if on a personal VPN. They've got their Cloudfront tweaked too high. I'll go 5-7 days without syncing (and not really thinking about it), would be nice to get a notification.

2. Leave VPN off a few days (thanks Fitbit for reducing my online security and privacy) and still don't get syncs.

3. Seriously, they can't get auto cue to stick to your choice? They couldn't even change default to 1 mile (like why wasn't that not the original default)?

4. Have to re-login so often. Only app I've got that fails to know how to store auth.

5. I ran a half marathon today, but only 15 "active minutes", but showing 27K steps. First good sync got my steps, but didn't get the actual run activity. Took a second sync.

6. GPS has been sub par. Wife's track from competitor will connect in 30 seconds, I'll often wait another couple minutes. And accuracy has been horrible it seems after about 6 miles. On a couple long runs, out to about 6 miles, I'll get an auto cue and hear my running partners trackers ping. But then my Ionic will start losing it. 9 miles becomes 10. 13 miles becomes 15 - and it totally screws my attempt at pace.

7. Have the time my alarms don't go off. I can wake early, waiting for it go off to really get up, and nothing.

8. The Ionic interface is slow. Didn't know how smooth it could be until I played with an Apple watch.

Fitbit, it's no you, it's me.
