Hi
I have installed fitbit app in on my Samsung Galaxy S6 and would like to participate in local fitbit challenges. I DO NOT have any fitbit tracker.
When I am trying to Join a challenge, the fitbit app forces me to select a fitbit tracker.
I read through forums and as per this link https://www.fitbit.com/devices ,Samsung Galaxy S6 is a compatible device and I should be able to Join Challenges. Why is the fitbit app not letting me Join the Challenge on Samsung S6?

Hi there @RtwoD2, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I saw your question about not being able to join the local challenge. The reason of this is due to the tracker.
With users who don't have a tracker, is possible to still participate in a challenge if you get the Fitbit app however the mobile phone need to support the feature MobileTrack.
In the case of the Galaxy S6 this feature is not supported. Basically MobileTrack uses your mobile device to track basic stats like steps and estimated calories burned but the device must be capable to provide this feature to your app.
Hope this information helps and let me know if you have other concerns.
