Thank you for your idea, but it is the data that is specifically related to my heart rate (similar to an ECG), fast or slow, regular or irregular, at rest or otherwise, that my consultant is interested in. And probably for a few days.

I see @Sherrydog . Well, this is everything Fitbit can offer. Fitbit offers the possibility to download the data but all you would obtain in this case is a bunch of data (json format if I remember well) that need to be elaborated and understood.
What I can however suggest is to link your Fitbit account with Cardiogram that, even in the free version offers a good HR analysis. I'm not sure however if the cardio report is only a premium feature.
