When I go for extended walks, the time is registered as Active Minutes. But when I go grocery shopping, no minutes are added. Why not?

When grocery shopping, @tishylu, you are probably holding onto the cart and not swinging your arm freely like you do when you go out for a walk.  So, the tracker is not seeing 15 minutes of continuous activity to register it.

I wear my Fitbit Zip on my clothing, no arm swinging required!
