Went for my usual 4 mile walk today only to discover that the update registered it as a mountain biking excursion. Oh, I was pushing a stroller, as I am watching our granddaughter for a week. Does that matter? Also, how do I get gps to track my walk again? Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi, @TheHoffinator , I find that if I am pushing my grandchildren in a stroller (or my little dog, who’s old and often has a little ride!) my Fitbit will often auto recognize the walk as a biking activity. It is easy to correct this in the app once it has synced.
To do that, please open the app on your Android phone and click on the bike activity. On the activity screen you will see a pencil icon at the top. Click on that and where it says “mountain bike” in the search box type “walk” instead and then “log it”. Job done!
If you would like to track your future walks using GPS then you cannot rely on the automatic exercise detection (Fitbit’s “SmartTrack”). Instead you must use the exercise app on the Luxe. Swipe to find the app, choose “walk”, and before you hit start to begin your walk make sure that you use the settings in the walk menu to make sure GPS is set to be ON for your walking activity (it should in future default to GPS on, once you have set it). When you start your walk on the app your Luxe will attempt to connect to the GPS on your phone so that when you sync it will map your walk and show distance. Be sure to press “finish” in the app on the Luxe at the end of your walk. When you sync your Fitbit all the info, including a map, should show in the app.
I hope this helps. Welcome to the Community Forums!

Thank you for such a thorough response. I'm wearing a versa 3, and don't know how to input the exercise as a walk as I used to do on my inspire 2. I will keep searching for a way to do that, but meanwhile override using your method. Thanks again, Julia!
