Activity tab only offers "Food" - no longer able to add steps

I have the Android ver 4.42 of fitbit app. Phone has ver 13 of Android.

The only option I get when I click "+" next to the Activities is Food. I can no longer add physical activities not picked up by my fitbit. I have cleared the cache and data in the app and forced stop. Still only "Food" option.

I don't know how long this has been a problem as I had been using a 3rd party app to add my food and such. Now there has been a problem with the API for a month or so, so I am forced to use the app on my phone.

Any help?

I don't know if this addresses your issue, but the floating + can vary depending on what you are looking at.  For instance if I am looking at full Today screen, I have 6 choices.  But if I am looking at Weigh, the only choice it gives is to Log Weight.

Thanks. I have scrolled down and tried the "+" at different steps, distance, etc.  The only result anywhere is "Food". 

I do not have Fitbit Premium, would that make a difference?
