The add exercise function does not remember prior searches. Every day I have to type in "yoga" since it is not in my "popular" list and it doesn't come up as a previous search. Annoying

It looks like the phone app doesnt move all types of exercise to the recent list, however i noticed that on the tracker it does. The advantage of starting on the wrist is at fitbit uses heart rate for calories and active minutes. When starting through thr phone app, fitbit assunes the  watch is not being worn and ignores the trackers data.

@Christinathall   You don't say what model Fitbit you use.  If your Fitbit has an Exercise app on the device, I recommend using the Exercise app with the Yoga shortcut.  The Add Exercise option is best for older Fitbits that don't have an Exercise app or if you forgot to wear your Fitbit.

I have a charge 5. This is the screen on the app I am referring to. It does not show "yoga" in my recent searches and I search for it all the time when I add the activity.

This looks like your Fitbit App. Have you tried typing Yoga in.

Or, last time, did you start the yoga exercise from your wrist on the Charge 5? If you started the exercise from your wrist, it will not show up as a recent event in the fitbit app

I never start the yoga exercise from my wrist.

I always add it in through the fitbit app and it NEVER remembers YOGA no matter how many days I add it.

I search for YOGA, select it, put in the start time and duration and enter it. The next day I go to add it, YOGA does not appear in the previously searched list.

Thank you, that is good to know. I always assumed that the tracker used the stored heart rate for the time period of the workout.

I typed it in like you did but it doesn't remember it the next time. I always have to type it it. It does not come up in the list.
