Adding manual activity does not work properly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When adding a manual activity, it shows two lists "Letzte Aktivitäten" and "Meistverwendete Aktivitäten" (most recent and most used).

I have exactly three activities which I track, Walking, Cycling and Weight Training.

However, the most recent list shows:
- Running
- Aerobic
- Walking

The most used list shows:
- Running
- Workout
- Swimming
- Cycling
- Sports
- Walking

This does not make ANY sense, because these are sports I never used.

Furthermore, when I want to add another activity, I have to type its' name in English despite I've set the App to German, which is near impossible because I don't see AT ALL which options are actually available.

NOTE: I initially made this thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Adding-manual-activity-is-broken-beyond-comprehension/m-...

I don't understand why it was closed. The bugs I listed are factually beyond my comprehension (meaning: I don't understand it, not more, not less) - so why was it closed without ANY notice? Is this how Google cares about customers who have pumped hundreds, if not thousands of Euros into the company?

@Seb1000   What model Fitbit do you use?  You can log these manually, but Fitbit recommends manual logging if you forget to wear your Fitbit.  The Exercise app has all three activities in the Exercise app.  All current models have SmartTrack which will track some activities automatically.  SmartTrack will track walking and cycling, but can't give a distance for cycling.  You must use the Exercise app for Weight Training.  I'm trying to help you get the most from your Fitbit.

I have an explanation for your note.  Google starting closing some threads after 30 days of no responses, even if the problem wasn't solved.  This is a user to user help site, not tech support.
