After update 3.44, the Share button disappeared

After the latest update to 3.44, the fitbit app can not share my steps anymore. That function is not available on the screen.

It looks like you're using a new feature that we're trying out. Your Fitbit app may look different from your friend's. We're always looking to improve our products, so if the design we're testing is successful, you may see elements of it in a future version of the app.

Thanks for your feedback, we're always striving to improve our services offered. To share your stuff, follow these steps: 

 

- Go to the Fitbit app 

- Select the Community tab 

- Tap on "What are you up to?" 

- Choose what you want to share 

- Tap Next to share it on the Community feed

Hello.
The problem is, when i open the app on my phone i don't see the share mark
anymore. The one who was in the part of the avatar, the word FITBIT and the
message mark. There it has disapeared.

We simply expect the return of a function that worked perfectly. Because searching for this function in the options is a mega stupidity and a UX error. So when will you fix this bug?

My share button also disappeared from the Fitbit app after the last update in early August. I had hoped Fitbit would have fixed this by now. I am a premium Fitbit user and cannot believe I can't share my daily stats with friends or in groups! UGH! I am disappointed and disgusted! I have to screenshot each time I want to share and it is not the same! It doesn't show the date of the stats in the screenshot. Instead, it says "today"! Please fix this problem post haste!

BTW, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and that did nothing. FYI, I have the Android version of the app.

Still, after 1 month. The share problem has not been solved by Fitbit

@Rob.v I don't think they are going to do anything as the answer here by @SilviaFitbit and in a similar discussion on iOS by @LiliyaFitbit hint more to a planned regression rather than a bug to fix.
