After updating the app, SpO2 stopped working on Charge 4

Since the update, which I did the very day it came out, I've lost my SpO2 readings. I've done everything I can think of.

  • Rebooted my Charge 4 (3x now)
  • Rebooted and fully shut down my Android (v. 11)
  • Cleaned my Charge
  • Checked for updates to my Charge

Under the Oxygen sensor, I'm getting the message that my Charge needs to be updated. However, when I try to update my Charge it tells me that it's updated!

Frustrating. It was working great before.

Thanks. I did all the steps as you recommended. I still don't have my SpO2 showing. I then rebooted my Charge again and still nothing has changed.

I appreciate your help!

Solution was to uninstall, then reinstall the SpO2 app.

Works now! Hope this helps someone!

Glad to hear that once the app was uninstalled and reinstalled, it helped you. I'm sure it will help others who might experience the same.

Go to your account, hit the charge 4 icon.

In there you'll see an Apps button, click it and scroll to find the SPo2 app. Click the app. It will give you the option to uninstall. Go ahead and uninstall. Then get out, and go back, and then the option to install will be there. Install it, and you should be good.

I did the uninstall and reinstall (the later required a reboot of my phone first), but the SpO2 is still missing the last few days. Should I expect that that data is lost, but I should start picking up new data?

Yep. I lost my previous data too.

And it was weird for me, the next morning when I looked at my metrics, at first the SPo2 didn't show. It just took a bit longer, but it did show up.
