Alta Failing to sync and pair

 My alta won't sync! I have tried restarting Bluetooth,  my phone, re adding the app, restarting my phone.  I delected the device and now it won't really add. I know my Bluetooth is working but I have tested it.  I tried on my son's phone and it worked - I am puzzled!! Can anyone help please

Hello @Nicolabobduffy, It is nice to have you here as a new member of the Fitbit Community! I was reading you are experiencing syncing issues and for I understand now you are not able to re-pair your tracker. In this case we need to add your tracker back to your account, so give it a try to this suggestions:

 

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again.
  3. Turn your Fitbit device off and back on using the instructions here.
  4. Try setting up your device again.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone (turn it off and then back on).
  6. Try setting up your device again.
  7. If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.
