Yesterday after Fitbit updated software on my Samsung Galaxy S7, it stopped syncing with my Alta HR Fitbit. I tried uninstalling the app and that didn't help. I tried force quitting, logging out of the app, and everything mentioned in the FAQs online, to no avail. Then I tried setting it up with my old Samsung Galaxy S5 and it syncs fine with that. Obviously the issue is with the S7 software, but I can't think of a solution. I would prefer to use my S7 to use the Fitbit app since I don't have a sim card for the S5 and it's battery runs out relatively quickly.

Hello @Margarita_W, good to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! Have you updated the software of your OS phone too? If this was the case please take a look at this post for more details.
If the previous post is not related to your scenario, please give it a try to the following post. You'll see the thread is for a different topic but we can try the troubleshooting recommendations too.
As a matter of review check this post if a step is missing regarding the syncing issues: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this). If your tracker is syncing with your S5 but not with the S7, then is a connectivity issues with the phone.
Keep me posted how it goes.
