Ambiguous On/Off Switches in Android App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The switches are ambiguous in the android app.  It seems that convention is usually Left = On, but the fitbit app is confusing me.

Left = Grey

Right = Red/Pink

So - do I interpret Left/Grey as disabled (as in grey'd out), or enabled (because it's not red)?

Do I interpret Right/Red as enabled (because it's not grey'd out), or disabled (because universally red = off/no/stop)?

I'm having trouble with syncing and no matter where I put the switches for All Day Sync or Always Connected, I can't get a satisfactory combination, and I'd like to know what's supposed to be happening as I flip the switches (i.e. are they on or off!) so I can troubleshoot.  (Note that I understand these options and what they do from other discussions on the forum - I simply don't know if I'm enabling or disabling them).

Left off - Right on

Think of it as

Grey the switch idicator light is off

Red/pink the switch indicator light is on.

Some wall switches have built in indicator lights that turn on when they are switched on. Their indicator lights look red That is the idea here.
