Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some advice on a really strange issue I'm having with my Fitbit app on my Samsung S22.
Here's the situation: My son occasionally uses my phone to play games, and I've noticed a consistent pattern. After he plays one specific game, my Fitbit Charge 5 completely stops receiving notifications for calls, texts, and everything else. The Fitbit app itself shows it's connected, but the notifications just won't come through. The only way to fix it is to restart my phone, which is a real pain.
The game in question is a version of Among Us. To be precise, he calls it the Among Us Mod Android version where you can be "always imposter". I'm not a tech expert, but my theory is that this specific mod android might be aggressively managing background processes to improve game performance, and in doing so, it's killing the Fitbit service that handles notifications.
I want to be fully transparent so you all can help me troubleshoot better. I managed to find the exact page he downloaded the file from. I'm sharing it here purely for context, thinking maybe someone technically-minded could see if it mentions any special permissions or conflicts.
Here is the page: https://modhello.com/among-us/
My question for the community is:
My goal is to find a way for the Fitbit app and this Among Us mod to coexist if possible. I love getting my notifications, and he loves playing that version of the game.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
