Amount of weight lost isn't showing up correctly

I don't know how else I could let you know but when we look at the icon about the weight lost we don't see the amount of weight lost... We see "weight} lbs perdu" in French

Hi @Melaniimat, welcome on board. I'm happy to see a new face here.

Thanks for stopping by and bringing this to my attention. Just to confirm, do you refer to the "}" appearing in the Fitbit app, or is the issue just with the amount of weight lost not showing up? Also, may I know if you've set a weight goal in the Fitbit app? As if you've not, that might be the reason why your details aren't displayed correctly.

Now, if you have done that, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  2. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  3. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated and reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and check your weight details one more time.

If the same is appearing, please provide me with a screenshot of what is displayed on the Fitbit app. To attach a picture in your reply, check this post.

See you around!

Hi @Melaniimat, it's great to see you here again.

Thanks for keeping me updated, as well for trying the steps posted above. This sounds odd, and to further investigate, please provide me with the following:

  • Your phone's model.
  • Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the 3.2 version.
  • A screenshot of the Fitbit app. For instructions to attach a picture in your reply, check this post.

Here are two screen shots and my phone is galaxy s8+ setup in French. I'm a QA tester for Web and apps where I work and just wanted to report this bug to you.

Hi @Melaniimat, I'm glad to see you here. I'm sorry for the delay in my response.

Thanks for keeping me updated and sharing a screenshot of what is displayed in the Fitbit app. This is an unusual behavior, and appreciate all the steps that you've tried to get it working. Our team recently released a new update for the Fitbit app and just to double check, please verify that it's updated in your phone. This way I can share your information with our team.

I look forward to your reply.
