Android 4.51 on Pixel is juddery and visibly laggy

I have been excited to get the fix for the missing nutrition information. That is now fixed on 4.51 but the UX is visibly impaired since that update.

The usual scrolling is juddery and jumps all over the place. Just getting to the food section is actually hard as you don't know if the scroll will work due to lag or if it will jump suddenly.

Entering food is painful as there are visible delays between the recent foods loading - it starts with a blank screen and then blocks before loading everything on recent. Screen transitions are visibly slow.

This is all since the 4.51 update and I am a daily user of Fitbit for a year so this is unusual behaviour in the app. I would say it's bordering on unusable as the scrolling is erratic and the lag really slows down basic things like logging food which I do throughout the day.

I have tried clearing cache and a restart of the Pixel and it is still the same. Battery is fully charged and no other apps that have a long scroll are showing the same - including the forum when accessed via the app menu.

This is on the fully up to date Pixel 8 Pro. Can try to grab a video if that would help. Let me know if there is anything I can try.

I have managed to resolve this myself. I did another restart and now all these described issues have gone away.
