Android App defaulting to miles instead of steps

My app updated last night and the large main tile is miles instead of steps.  The daily and weekly graphs are also showing miles only (no steps)  I have tried touching the steps icon to make it wiggle, but nothing happens. Also tried to fix using edit, but steps is already first.  Steps is also indicated as my main goal.

How can I restore my settings so that steps are primary?

Under General settings - main goal already says steps.
