I had ro reset my phone so, needed to re-install the Fitbit app.  However, Google Play reports that my device is not compatible.  How do I get my app back?

Luckily since you use Android (and not iOS) you have the freedom to decide to sideload the app. Please google to find how as it is not allowed to speak about it here.

What version of Android are you running? The app requires at least android 8, see: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/compatible-devices

 

It used to support older versions. If you are running an older version it will continue to work (but may not receive updates) but it you delete it from your phone you will not be able to reinstall it.

Thanks!  I appreciate the help resisting fitbit bulllying me into a new phone.

 

Companies deliberately breaking the products their customers bought and paid for is a crock.
