Android app & Charge 2

For the last week I have a lot of trouble syncing & exercise is not showing up in the app even when recorded with the device. Also what is showing for distance and for calories on the front page is not the same when I click through. Yesterday I hiked for more than 4 hours & covered 12km but the app says I did no exercise. The app is useless & annoying - any fixes?

I have had the same issue about exercises not showing up, and also heart rate zone data displaying incorrectly. I was chatting with support and they said they are aware of the issue, and a fix will come "in the next couple weeks" (?!?!?!)

Does your app (I have v 4.25.2) show heart rate zone data correctly? EG when you tap on the heart bpm icon on the dashboard.

Hi - I have the same version of the app. No the heart rate zone info is
mostly 0 except for when I add back in my elliptical sessions (just correct
for them but they don't appear in the totals for the day!)

I have been adding my elliptical every day / session but it never shows up
as a "recently searched" exercise either.

A few weeks - I may have dumped in a bin by then !

Hello @SandraC_UK

I'm confirming what @chriski47 shared. There is currently an issue on the Fitbit side that affects our ability to see the data for completed exercises. The team is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

Since the issue is on the Fitbit side, there's nothing that we can do for now. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before the problem is fixed and we see our exercise data in the Fitbit app again.

Is this just with Charge 2 or does it affect other Fitbit trackers as well?

Hello @SandraC_UK

This problem is affecting multiple devices from the reports I've seen, including the newer Charge 5 & 6.

This type of thing is EXACTLY the reason to have had the dashboard still on fitbit.com!!!

Updates to fitbit.com wouldn't need to be done often, and a person could still see if a device was still working properly and that it is an "app" issue when something goes awry. The data is stored online so going online to view it seems like an easy think to do if the phone app / or phone are unavailable!

(Directed at google, not any user. I don't think users said "yeah, get rid of the fitbit.com user interface, no one uses it.")
