Android app and website just started blocking Avast VPN

I have been a Fitbit user for many years and have been using Avast VPN for the last 3 years on my computers and Android phone. Today (May 22,2022) Fitbit has blocked the IP addresses from Avast VPN. Why? 

When I travel overseas I use the VPN to connect back to sites in the US. If this is not corrected, I will need to stop using Fitbit and find another health monitoring watch that doesn't punish security minded users.

If someone fixed the issue, thank you. I'm now able to access the fitbit app on my android phone and the website on my Macbook. Both have the VPN turned on.
