Android app bug: Email address validation

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just created a Fitbit account as a new user via the Android app on my Samsung Galaxy S6.  When the app asked me for my email address, I typed it in, ending the entry by using the Samsung keyboard's ".com" button.  I didn't notice at first, but this adds a trailing space after the entry.  The Fitbit app kept complaining that my email address was invalid.  It took me many tries before I realized that there was a trailing space.  The input validation code should be fixed by stripping leading and trailing spaces for this field.
