Android display turns off when running

I recently purchased a pixel 4, and when I run I like to have the Fitbit open so I can see my pace on my phone. With my old iPhone the displayed stayed on but I'm struggling to find a setting to control this on my android. Does anyone have any ideas for I do this?

Thanks,

Gary

Hello @GaryWH, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

First, I'd like to apologize for the delayed reply. Based on the information of your post, it seems that your concern is more related to your Google Pixel 4 display settings rather than the Fitbit app. Unfortunately, I do not have a Google Pixel 4 to check that information for you, however, I found the following steps, hope that this helps:

Head over to Settings -> Display -> Lock screen display and make sure Always on is enabled, while Show display when nearby is disabled. The latter is what you need in order to avoid the ambient display timing out after a few seconds of inactivity nearby.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
