Annoying "advice"

I notice on my steps screen for example there's now space telling me things like "Set a goal of 10,000 steps". This is annoying as I average well over 10,000 a day, so I know the importance of doing so. (It's my goal anyway).

I can't find an obvious way to stop these appearing.  Clearly they don't check what your performance is and are there " Because it's a good idea".

Any ideas how to get rid? Thanks.

Then set a step goal that is more realistic for you.

BTW studies have shown that benefits from walking can be obtained with only 5000 steps a day.

10K is simply another false hood, like 8 glasses of water a day, that comes from the 50's - 60's.

In 1965 the Japanese inventor Dr. Hatano designed the first pedometer and named it the Manpo-kei which literally means 10000 steps. A name that sounded good to him but has nothing to do with. Science.

1000 steps is simply the name of the first pedometer produced by Yamesa
