App No Longer Opening

Anyone else having issues with opening the app on android? Since installing the latest update the app will not open and my watch will no longer connect.

 
I have tried clearing the cache, uninstalling, force quitting, restarting and nothing is working ever since the update yesterday.

Same here ... I've been through the clearing cache, restarting, force stop, uninstall/reinstall cycle umpteen times and it still refuses to open - I get message saying there's a bug in the app and to re-install when new version available.
I'm amazed more people aren't reporting this.

Same for me.  I've gone through all the 'fixes '  clearing cache, turning phone off, uninstalling app, .... keep getting message about a bug and reinstall when updates are available...

It can't be just a few of us, surely?

I've checked with downdetective and it shows no problems

i tried working with AI, incredible. after all the usual stuff we determined a new google chrome update broke it so uninstalled the updates and went back to the factory one which opened fitbit. but couldn't sign in (AI said probably due to needed updates to 'handshake' so stuck again awaiting a fix  i had a chat with fitbit and informed them of all and got a case number you should too.
