Ionic, current firmware version (27.72.1.9), syncing with Android 8.1, & have premium via work. Fitbit app version 3.39.2. About a week ago, the daily check-in (working since November) began failing with the error message noted in the subject. Tap on the Daily Check-In tile, get the error message. Rebooting phone did not solve the problem, neither did rebooting the Ionic. Please advise.
Best AnswerOnce again, a service I pay for every month, cannot deliver. Every time I try and access a meditation or workout or guided program the app crashes and closes down!
Please please fix this, I have this problem at least 7 days out of the month, and you are rapidly running out of second chances Any help available? (preferably with advice that isnt "force stop" because it doesn't work!!!!)
After performing the update today and no there was no message indicating I needed to be on a certain version before updating several apps on my Andriod phone are no longer working most importantly Gmail is unresponsive and crashes.
Additionally I ger numerous messages about other apps that are not working and I have to close them.
What can I do to fix my phone???? This isn't working for me, can I roll back the update?
BTW the update for me took maybe 10 minutes.

Today my Fitbit Charge 4 app keeps stopping - what can I do to eliminate this?
I'm having the exact same issue. Everything was fine until the update. Every app I use crashes even Google. I've uninstalled the Fitbit App and a few others from my phone and it still happens. The phone has been rebooted as well.

Since the firmware update this afternoon, the various apps on my phone keep crashing. I've uninstalled many of the apps and restarted the phone. The other apps would crash. I can't even do a search on Google without it crashing. The fitbit app has been reinstalled but continues to crash.
Any suggestions to get the phone to work again?
Thanks!
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
Best AnswerAfter trying multiple times, I was able to update my Charge 4. Since that time, however, my app shuts down every time I try to open it. I have restarted both the phone and Charge 4. I have cleared the cache, forced the app to stop, turned off Bluetooth and unpaired and unpaired the phone. Nothing has worked.
Best AnswerMine did the exact same! I've been trying to Uninstall and reinstall apps and it's SO frustrating! I thought I had a virus on my phone but now it seems to be working again. Sorry you're going through this too...
I got a new firmware update to my Charge 4 yesterday. Yesterday I synced all day and it worked. Today in the morning when I try to start the app it always crash within a 3 seconds.
I have contacted Fitbit support, but I guess they do not answer until US opens.
It appears to me that Fitbit need to invest in system test and quality assurance resources.
Since i installed the firmware update yesterday i now get 'apps keeps stopping' errors from several apps on my phone. I don't know if its related, but that's the only thing that I have changed. So far 3 apps have done this Noom, Email and Alfit. As I use Noom several times a day this os very annoying.
Help!
Sarah
Same here, but happened right after i got a notification to update my tracker. Hadn't been able to do it yet, because it kept crashing.
Reinstalled the app, worked ok for about an hour, just long enough for me to do the update, then started crashing again.
The crash-notifications on my android are driving me insane...
Gmail app has the same problem too. Coincidence?
Yes, same here. Not a great update....
Edit - I uninstalled the app and tried it again and this time it appears to have worked....
