App crashes when setting up Fitbit Charge 4

I have a Lenovo P2 with Android 7. I just bought a Fitbit charge 4.

 

I click: Set up a device --> Fitbit Charge 4 ---> Set up, and then the app crashes. Every single time, without fail. I have updated the app, uninstalled and reinstalled it, turned my phone off and on again - no difference.

 

Is this a common issue? Does anyone have a fix for it?

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.

What you're experiencing isn't common, whenever we're aware of issues with the app, a post will appear on the board to inform you. Since the app was reinstalled and it was still crashing, please clear the cache of it and let me know how it goes. Does it only crash when you set up your Fitbit Charge 4?
