App interferes with wifi

I downloaded the fitbit app, and ever since my wifi connects and disconnects.  I rebooted the phone, and the problem persists.  I also Rebooted my router.

A app on your phone can't affect your homes wifi.

How are other devices that use wifi acting when your phone disconnects?

You misunderstood. The wifi on my phone connects and disconnects. Other
devices are unaffected.
