App is draining phone battery in the background

Hi, I tried to disable everything, the app keeps running in the background and doing stuff - probably scanning for my Inspire 3. There doesn't seem to be a way to prevent this app from running in the background? I can't add it to the Deep Sleep list in the Battery Manager, I can't even Force Stop it, Greenify can't do anything to stop it. Why? What is it doing in the background that it is draining my battery so much? I just want to sync my data only when I open the app.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S10 phone.

Please fix the app ASAP, I don't want to return the tracker as it is good, but the app is horrible, sorry.

Hello @xtexistenz 

This help page (<-- click) has the phone permissions that are needed for the Fitbit app. This might help you figure out what other settings to turn off.
