I entered in all my food yesterday and it shows 0 of ___ eaten. The previous topics I found on this issue were for a 3.x.x version issue and I just checked, my app version is 4.x.x (andriod) 

Is there some setting I missed enabling?

Disregard. I found it, you need to set a food plan to 'start' this feature. There's a million opt in features and I missed this one lol
