App showing as distance instead of time for activities

There seems to be no rhyme or reason for this.

Sometimes when I track an treadmill run the app will show a clock symbol and how much time was spent doing the activity. Other times it will show a location symbol and display distance traveled. I would like it to only show time, but is there a way to get the device/app to consistently do this?

I also had issue with it showing distance traveled when logging Yoga from the device. Obviously distance is a useless metric when tracking Yoga! Please give me the time!

Using a Charge 3 paired with the Android app.
