App synced only 10,000 steps yesterday then stopped

I hit 10k steps early yesterday afternoon. Ended the close to 15k but the app shows only 10,000 exactly. I tried syncing a dozen times last night and everything else updated but the steps are stuck right at 10k. I deleted the app and reinstalled, still wouldn't sync the extra 5k steps. Any advice?

Hi @Holmsc welcome to the Community! Heart let me suggest you something else, turn OFF the Bluetooth on your phone, then reboot your phone and then turn ON the Bluetooth again. The follow the instructions on @AlejandraFitbit post to sync by using an Android device. 

 

Let me know if the missing steps were added.

Thanks for the reply. It started working again the next day. Not sure what the bug was, I tried everything from settings, rebooting, etc but it finally just kicked back on the next day.

Thanks for getting back to me @Holmsc! So after you synced, the data on the Fitbit app matches with the data on your tracker? It is syncing properly?
