App wiping steps after syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm currently on 5865 steps on my fitbit ionic but everytime I sync I lose all my steps on the app. I've tried resetting the watch and the app, turning Bluetooth on and off and signing out of the app restarting phone and syncing but steps are wiped every time.

Welcome to the Forums @Gumfa.

Thanks for sharing these details and I'd like to take a closer look at what is going on.

Could you share some screenshots showing the steps before and after a sync? That way I will be able to see the change myself and hopefully understand what is going on.

In the meantime, please check on the web version of the Dashboard. I'd like to see if the steps are showing accurately on that version of the Dashboard.

Please keep me posted on that. I look forward to your reply.

Hello @Gumfa.

Thanks for sharing those steps and checking on the web Dashboard.

In this case I'd like to recommend that whenever this happens, you try to log out of your account and then log back in. This will force the Dashboard to reload all data from our servers and thus display correctly.

Please keep me posted on how it goes or if there are any other questions on the matter.
