Apple App - Unable to Log Custom Food Nutrition

I cannot, for some reason, save and add custom foods. I can enter nutritional information. But logging this information supplies no response whatsoever. 

Can this bug be sorted? Is anyone else having the same problems?

To provide further clarification, the app neither saves nor logs my custom foods.
