The average Steps in the leaderboard do not match each of the 7 previous days total divided by 7. I am doing a work challenge and people get Put into a raffle based on making they're daily average and a few people have approached me to show me how the 7 day average on the leaderboard does not match the previous 7 days total divided by 7

The way that works, whether or not it is the way it seems it should, the total is for the previous 6 full days plus so far today.  When you click on the total to get to the next screen with average, that show average of the 6 previous full days, neglecting today. So the average will stay constant throughout the day, but will change at midnight;  the total on the previous screen will gradually increase throughout the day, then suddenly drop at midnight as the oldest day is dropped, the gradually increase as your today's steps are added in.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
