Using Galaxy Note and Android 4.4 barcode camera picture is focused far and this results in blurry scan codes which can not be detected. There is a button for turning the LED on/off for adding light to the subject and that's it. There is no function such as macro focusing.Third party barcode scanners work fine.
Anyone else having this issue?

@_A_ Sounds like you may need to adjust your camera's settings to auto-focus. I tested the barcode scanning with my own camera on my Galaxy Note 5 and was able to focus the camera on the barcode.

This still happens:
Redmi note 9, the barcode camera is totally blurry and only keeps distant focus on fitbit app barcode-scanner.
Meanwhile other barcode apps (third party or the stock barcode scanner of the phone itself) can adjust camera focus as per the "auto-focus" settings.
