Battery drain and HR sensors not working after update

Is there going to be another firmware update for the ongoing battery issues that so many of us experienced after this last firmware update? My battery went from 42% to 0 in 4 hours. And this isn't the first time it's done that since the update...

Also, HR and pedometer have been off or lagging since update as well and I'm no longer getting notifications from my phone consistently like I was before.

I know I'm not the only one dealing with these issues after this last update so please tell me there is another update to fix these glitches.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Ever since the firmware update last week, my phone has had to be recharged multiple times a day even when I'm not using it. It was at 71% battery when I went to bed last night and 1% when I woke up this morning 8 hours later. I checked my phone battery settings and saw that the FitBit app used 58% of my battery over the last 8 hours.

I checked other forum issues with Galaxy 8, but they were for different fitbits. I also can't find the option to turn off all-day sync on my fitbit app, and the app also doesn't allow me to put it to sleep when I'm not using it.

I already know from past experience that having my GPS and bluetooth turned on all day drains my battery, so I just turn them on once a day to sync, but now the app drains my phone regardless!

Hello @Katdog26 may I ask what device are you asking for an update to. We are in the android app board.

Is the Fitbit app draining your phones battery?
